29 Reasons to Adore the Third Coast Groom on His 29th Birthday:

We're interrupting this previously scheduled Third Coast Bride programming to thank a very important person that makes this blog possible, the Third Coast Groom. We will be celebrating his birthday this weekend and I wanted to take a quick minute to highlight 29 reasons why he's the best thing to ever happen to this world {and me}. Wishing you a wonderful birthday, B.

1. He has the loudest laugh you'll ever hear. Bottom of the belly laugh, for real! It's contagious
2. He has been given over 20 nicknames and still responds to every one of them
3. He dances like a chicken but knows how to get anyone onto a dance floor
4. He loves me with and without makeup and doesn't seem to notice the difference
5. He's got "McDreamy" hair. Our future kids are very fortunate!

6. He loves Chipotle and decided to turn up there one day in October 2005. It changed our lives forever
7. His ability to mend a heart, heal a memory, and build confidence
8. His "Wisconsin" accent comes out at the weirdest times and occasions. It's awesome
9. His sense of humor
10. The way he perfectly cooks a salmon but also loves eating fast food
11. How he loves unconditionally and forgives me over stamps :)
12. His knowledge of music history. He's opened my eyes to new things
13. He knows the exact ingredients that we both love to eat on everything from pizza to eggs
14. The way he gets along my family
15. He's better at my job than me, but not even in the industry
16. He always seems to surprise me every day
17. His ability to make anyone feel loved and comforted
18. His kiss
19. The way he seems to freeze time when I'm with him
20. His mom is amazing and raised him to be a gentleman. He's a modern day prince charming
21. He loves Valpo and will allow our kids to go there one day {okay, maybe not. He wants them to go to UW Madison but I had to put it in here for extra encouragement}
22. He's the most loyal man you'll ever meet
23. His preppy meets edgy style. He always looks better than me
24. The random things he loves from travel neck pillows to cleaning supplies :)
25. His ability to shop with me without going nuts
26. His strong faith and the way we both see it as the center of our relationship
27. How he often reminds me of my mom in so many wonderful ways
28. He may be 29 but he looks 20. He never seems to age
29. Everyone calls him amazing, I just call him mine.

Here’s to 29 more fabulous years with you and many more, B. I love you.

Happy Friday!

Happy Friday! If only this beautiful weather could stick around.

Brides-to-be rarely carry handbags on their big day but every bride needs a stylish place to store those little emergency items {i.e. lip gloss, hair clips, powder, hair spray, etc}. We recommend {and adore} Kate Spade's Windsor Palace Snake Gwendolyn Bag in Blush. This bag is a great place to store all your "emergency" bridal needs and something that you can use for many years to come.

Chandelier Chic

If we could invest in one thing this spring, it be Miuccia Prada's Spring 2010 chandelier designs. Getting married in the new Modern Wing at the Art Institute?  Why not opt for this modern dress design?  An outdoor ceremony?  Can you imagine how the crystals would catch the sunlight? Crazy as it may seem, I think this would be a great option for a bride! But what do you think? Would you be daring enough to wear this style on your wedding day?

Happy {belated} Monday

Real Wedding: Heidi and Michael

Check out these gorgeous photos from Boutwell Studio of a California wedding in Palos Verdes. I absolutely adore the color scheme and love how the couple played with the color purple instead of being too matchy-matchy. Brides-to-be, don't be afraid to play with the shades of the hues you pick.
